Information Letter

Hi All

As you will be aware the Saturday morning sessions which were previously run by Active Schools has now become Broxburn Gymnastics Club, a community club run by a committee of volunteer parents (the committee were voted in at the Annual General Meeting held on 19 January 2013).

There will not be any changes to the way the gymnastics sessions are run. The ethos of the club will remain the same -inclusive and non-competitive.

There will be some changes to the way the fees are paid and the cost of the sessions, as the club will have to pay for the use of the facility and register with Scottish Gymnastics. To ensure the gymnasts are insured each gymnast will also have to be registered with Scottish Gymnastics. The cost for this will be £9 for the remainder of this school year.

Under Active Schools the fees were £2 per hour this will increase to £3 per hour. The club will register the children with Scottish Gymnastics at the start of the new block.

Due to club start up procedures having to be in place, there is not currently a date for when the new block will begin, but this should approximately be towards the end of May. Further updates will be provided on this website when this information is known. In the meantime it is possible to reserve a place for your child in our classes.
